Job Description:
A company is looking for a Billing Reimbursement Specialist II
who will be responsible for reconciliation of medical claims to
collect revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Increase cash flow and reduce bad debt through effective billing
practices
Manage appeals and denials based on payer guidelines in a timely
manner
Investigate denied services and take appropriate actions to resolve
issues
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma at minimum
2 years of experience in A/R, Billing, insurance, or healthcare,
preferably in laboratory insurance billing
Working knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and
HCPCS
Familiarity with payer medical policies and coverage guidelines
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
