Job Description:
Summary You will serve as a SECRETARY (OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the
FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPT COMMAD
ADMINISTRATION DIV of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Responsibilities You
will perform clerical and/or administrative support work for an
office and/or organization. You will prepare, edit correspondence
using automated software and/or systems. You will coordinate travel
arrangements or prepare travel documents using the Defense Travel
System. You will schedule appointments or maintain a calendar for
supervisor/others. Requirements Conditions of Employment
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of
specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or
pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the
private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate
the following: Preparing presentations and detailed reports to
support the training, time accounting, personnel actions and
performance status of assigned programs. Utilizing a government
purchase card to purchase supplies and other items similar in
nature. Screening all correspondence prepared for the management
official to clarify the completeness of reply, grammatical, and
procedural correctness. Preparing briefing material and reports for
management officials to determine corrective action needed
including requests for additional time and resources. Coordinating
trips using a travel system to make commercial and military air
reservations to be visited on administrative details. Additional

the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the

qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in
the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher. ICTAP
