Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a Development Engineer for a 12-month
contract position with a medical device manufacturer located in
Jacksonville, FL.This is not a software or IT related positon. NO
C2C, vendors or referrals accepted. Onsite: Jacksonville,
FLDuration: 12 monthsPay Range: $46.95 - $49.95 hr.This is a
remediation integration projectPrincipal Duties and
Responsibilities:Model creation from scratchAdditional testing for
design verification and validationKey Team member of
Integration/Remediation of newly acquired product.Identifies all
tasks required to complete project assignments according to Design
Control procedures.Participates in root cause analysisGenerates 3d
models and product drawingsContributes to generation of a
comprehensive protocol for testing/analyzing the productExecutes
generated testing as requiredPrepares definitive new product
specifications or modifies existing specificationsGenerates or
updates design assurance documentationExpected Areas of Competence
(i.e. KSAs)QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. in Mechanical, Biomedical,
Industrial Engineering, or other engineering science plus 3-5 years
of experience. Experience with 21 CFR 820.30 (Design Controls)
FDA's Quality System Regulation and ISO 13485 regulations. Transfer
of design specifications into manufacturing specifications (Design
Transfer) including document preparation for Design History
Files/Device Master Records/Risk Management. Experience with
complex assembles Good oral and written communication skills
Statistical background Ability to effectively work within a team
and cross functionally to expedite completion of critical project
tasks. Good documentation skills. Microsoft Office Suite and
