We're hiring a driven Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial solar energy system installations. You'll oversee entire construction projects. Responsibilities:
--- Prevent injuries, slowdowns, and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and reporting safety regulation issues promptly
--- Conduct business with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors to negotiate profitable contracts
--- Keep key stakeholders informed of the project's status by producing frequent progress reports
--- Lead, manage, and hold direct reports accountable
--- Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, designers, JHAs, vendors, and subcontractors
--- Manage the installation schedule, coordinating all construction timelines and operations into an intuitive plan so the team is on track to meet deadlines
--- Supervise crew leads and subcontractors, providing direction when needed to ensure the quality of the job
--- Requisition of materials, equipment, and services on time and within the project budget
--- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained from the appropriate authorities and ensure construction is up to code
--- Communicate billing milestones to Accounting in a timely manner
--- Keep project management tools and software up to date
--- Provide technical assistance to crew members as needed and identify areas for training
--- Check to commission reports at the end of each project. Facilitate handoff back to Sales/Service

Qualifications:
--- Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly valued
--- Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
--- Experience using construction or project management software preferred
--- Finished training for OSHA 30 license
--- At least one year of previous experience as a construction project manager required
--- Understanding of solar energy systems and/or roofing desired
--- Post-secondary credential or Journeyman-level training
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
--- Supervisory, budgeting, and planning experience
--- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
