Job Description:
A company is looking for a Nurse Disability Consultant to review
and analyze medical information for disability claims.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate medical information to clarify diagnoses and assess
severity of medical conditions
Act as a clinical resource for claim professionals and provide
guidance on medical management
Coordinate with Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinators to support
return-to-work services
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state of
residence
3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Room,
Critical Care, Orthopedics, or Trauma
Previous insurance industry experience is preferred
Experience in Disability Management, Workers Compensation, or Nurse
Case Management is preferred
