About the RoleParrish Healthcare is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team.Key Responsibilities

• Provides MRI Scanning Services: Performs routine and emergent MRI scanning procedures while adhering to high magnetic field safety practices.
• Care and Education: Educates patients prior to procedures, ensures patient questions are answered, and provides proper prescreening of all patients for MRI procedures.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrates competency in all procedures within the scope of practice, including obtaining information and interpreting images for optimal clinical results.
• Administrative Tasks: Completes timely and accurate computer entry duties, including exam status changes, billing additions or corrections, and patient tracking time entries.
• Maintenance and Safety: Cleans and stocks the MRI Suite, cleans MRI equipment, and follows infection control guidelines for waste disposal.Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree or two-year college equivalent required.
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association and ARRT certification required, with MRI Registry (MR) through ARRT required within twelve months of hire date.
