Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Ambulatory Pharmacy
Technician.
Key Responsibilities
Process prescription renewal requests via electronic messages,
faxes, or phone calls
Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, providers, and
supporting staff
Maintain knowledge of clinical techniques and document according to
department standards
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Active pharmacy technician licensure in the state of practice
Two or more years of ambulatory pharmacy experience or relevant
knowledge
Knowledge of computer software, particularly Microsoft
applications
Completion of a technical certificate program is preferred
Experience in clerical or administrative duties may be required
