Job Description:
A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Claims Manager
to oversee their multi-state National Workers' Compensation
program.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a 30+ state Workers' Compensation program and maintain
relationships with third-party adjusters
Review claims for accuracy, prepare reports, and provide guidance
on settlements and claims handling strategies
Assist the Risk Manager with day-to-day operations, including
incident reports and insurance-related tasks
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business field
Minimum of seven years of experience in Workers' Compensation
claims management or related fields
Deep knowledge of medical and indemnity benefits calculations
Understanding of reserving practices and ability to set reasonable
reserves per claim
Familiarity with Risk Management work and claims systems is a
plus
