Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
?Partner with the eCommerce Merchandise team to plan out messaging
and align creative work ahead of delivery times.
?Provide quick turnaround of marketing assets including daily
emails, landing pages, homepage updates, promotions, display/
affiliate marketing banners, facebook/twitter support, mobile site
content.
?Responsible for projects from concept through implementation -
including graphic design, creating prototypes/mock-ups,
development, coding, testing, and debugging.
?Implement the vision of the online experience; including design,
informational architecture & brand identity, ensuring consistency
across the entire visual presentation.
?Work collaboratively with eCommerce and Marketing colleagues, as
well as third party and other key stakeholders to capture design
requirements and translate them into design solutions that drive
business results.
?Upgrades, maintains and provides ongoing advanced design of the
website, promos, and advertising banners as well as seasonal
content that are visually compelling and brand appropriate.
?Ability to lead creative projects and bring them from concept to
completion.
Ideal candidate will have ecommerce web design experience at other
retailers or marketing agencies.
?5+ years of web design experience with demonstrable skills
represented by a portfolio of work.
?3+ years' experience working in an eCommerce business.
?High level of proficiency with the following programs & languages:
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML/DHTML, CSS,
JavaScript, AJAX
?Firm understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility,
and image optimization techniques
?Elegant graphic, typography and web design skills with interactive
design experience
?Superior attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple
projects are crucial.
?Prior online web design experience. Strong knowledge/background
related to web creative and associated concepts.
?Detailed understanding of the Internet as it relates to working
with an enterprise level eCommerce website.
