Wilkes & Mee is growing and we are looking for another experienced personal injury attorney to join our team!--Please only apply if you have prior first-chair trial experience.

Responsibilities:
--- FL Bar License required. GA Bar License preferred
--- Prior experience litigating personal injury cases - THIS IS A MUST!
--- Prior experience in the courtroom. Yes, that's right - you will need to try cases and we expect that you will already have experience with this. Producing legal work with close supervision of the Owner
--- Researching legal issues
--- Periodically providing research to the Owner in preparation for case needs and PC consultations
--- Attending court appearances, hearings, and trials
--- Engaging in phone conferences/meetings with clients, opposing counsel, and other outside parties as necessary
--- Preparing clients for court hearings
--- Maintaining case deadlines and opposing counsel communication
--- Anticipating and mitigating potential legal problems within the firm or for a client - and developing strategies to avoid costly litigation and reduce potential areas of risk
--- Synthesizing legal research and analysis into a coherent written memorandum or brief submission to a client, court, or mediator/arbitrator
--- Maintaining the reputation and ethical standards of the firm
--- Performing case-related tasks in a timely manner in accordance with the firm's case-tracking goal

Concerning compensation, it is negotiable depending on experience and is subject to review after 1 year. The starting salary range for an associate attorney will be dependent upon experience. We will pay your bar dues & CLE fees. We also pay all employees performance pay based on your individual & team performance at the firm.
