Job Description:

I a currently seeking a Business Advisor for a client in the Jacksonville. The position reports directly to the Branch Manager. This individual will partner with the local Field Consultant to help serve the clients of the Jacksonville office.

The Business Advisor works in a team environment supervising all aspects of accounting and tax preparation in a section of 50 clients and supervises about 3 to 4 people. His work contributes to providing clients with business counseling. Some individual tax preparation and special projects work required. The person in this role serves as the ?right hand? to the Branch Manager and Field Consultant in supporting client management and business development initiatives. The Business advisor will ultimately be responsible for ensuring all monthly accounts are processed and reviewed in a timely manner and maintaining and developing client relationships.

As a multi-faceted position, this opportunity includes monitoring business production pertaining to reviewing accounting reports and answering all technical processing and accounting questions for clients in addition to hiring, training and supervising Business Associates. The Business Advisor is responsible for handling special projects as assigned to include responsibilities for managing an office or sections of an office. This dynamic position is well suited for tax professionals with strong expertise in preparing personal and business tax returns and developing consulting/business relationships within their community.

Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes

?5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in public accounting

?1+ years proven experience growing and managing a team

?Proven track record of solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists.

?Proven ability to handle a high-volume workload at a high level of efficiency including monitoring production and payroll processing; answering technical processing and accounting questions; and client reporting.

?2+ years proven experience in writing and maintaining complex reporting

?High proficiency with accounting and office software applications

?Is a detail oriented leader and individual contributor with the ability to ?think outside the box"

?Possesses an unquestionable level of integrity and respects quality assurance requirements.

?Has a history of building relationships with clients and colleagues
