JOB SUMMARY: Renaissance windows and doors specializes in the design and manufacture of quality windows and sliding glass doors. The Shipping Coordinator receives, stores materials, and supplies. Also handles all outgoing shipments and service items daily. Responsibilities for Shipping ClerkEnsure all shipments receive the proper labeling and are packaged to arrive safelyKeep management and supervisors aware of product shortages in order to maintain accurate information.Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly staging and storing goods in their designated locationPractice customer service when interacting with other companies and clients and see to it all external parties receive a positive interaction with the companyVerify all outgoing shipments to be accurate by comparing the Shipper to order and ensuring all goods are in acceptable conditionPrepare detailed and accurate product quantities to accompany shipments and ensure all items are packaged and shipped to company standardsWork with other shipping clerks to see that all shipping documents are handled promptly, and goods are shipped and stored properlyQualifications for Shipping ClerkAbility to continuously lift 50 or more pounds, as many packages are largeExperience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailAbility to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing and liftingExperience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programsInterpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouseExperience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferredAbility to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importancePersonal accountability and integrity are paramount, as a shipping clerk is tasked with an accurate accounting of all inventories Relevant customer service experience is a plus as shipping clerks interact with customers to replace lost or damaged goodsCompany offers the following benefitsHealthDentalVision401K after 1 yearPaid Time Off, Vacation, Sick and personalAflac plans available PI3331f2a8bbe7-25660-35703865
