Position Details:
Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
Location: Lakeland, FL. Travel: None
Shift: 7am-3pm Mon.-Fri.
Compensation: Initial base rate determined by skills and experience
($35/hr.-$40/hr.) + $0.50/hr. shift bonus for any nights worked +
$2/hr. for any on-call work plus O/T pay for all on-call hours
worked + O/T after 40 hours weekly (there is automatic O/T built
into the shift structure weekly!) + up to 10% quarterly variable
incentive plan bonus based on performance metrics + pay skill
increases based on certification/experience + holiday incentive pay
+ yearly raises + $5K sign-on relocation available outside of 60
mile radius from the plant. $90K-$100K+ 1st year!

Position Description: This position is part of company's flagship
insulation (yes, think Pink Panther!) plant maintenance team. This
plant has production line equipment and two melters processing
fiberglass for insulation production. Maintenance Technicians
primarily troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production systems and
equipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install all
equipment and systems in the plant to insure smooth operation,
production, & safe working conditions. Key duties include:
--- Troubleshooting & solving production and facility equipment
problems during day-to-day operations.
--- Performing preventative maintenance on equipment & systems to
prevent downtime/deterioration.
--- Work assignments on projects for continued growth, expansion, &
safety of the plant and work areas.
--- Work with outside contractors to perform installation or
service of equipment within the facility.
--- Assisting operators to minimize downtime and complete scheduled
equipment cleaning/changeovers.
Requirements: HS Diploma. Candidates must be maintenance
professionals with 2+ years industrial electrical systems
experience troubleshooting & repairing industrial systems. Strong
systems-level electrical experience in typical working-leveling
voltage range required from 480V, 3-phase and below. Multi-craft
technicians are preferred. Electrically you will be fixing motors,
starters, variable-frequency drives, sensors, interfaces, relays,
input/output controls, instrumentation and some robotics on
production line equipment and systems. Candidates must have
excellent input/output troubleshooting & be able to read
schematics, blueprints, drawings for
maintenance/troubleshooting/repair. Candidates should have ability
to share skills to help others develop, excellent communication
skills, and commitment to providing a high level of detail, pride,
and safety towards system & equipment maintenance work, projects,
and programs. Candidates must pass background and full-panel drug
test prior to employment.
